Privacy policy

NorthFifty handles your data with care. This page explains what we collect through northfifty.nl, what we use it for, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

Who we are

NorthFifty is a trade name of MHmarketing. MHmarketing is responsible for processing your data.

What we collect

When you sign up for updates, we store:

  • your email address;
  • the language of the page you signed up on;
  • how you found us: the page, the referring website and any campaign codes;
  • your device type and the time you signed up;
  • whether you confirmed your sign-up.

We do not ask for your name or any other details.

What we use it for

  • To send you an email to confirm your sign-up.
  • To let you know when the new website is live.
  • To see which channels bring in sign-ups, so we can improve how we communicate.

We do not use your data for anything else, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone other than the service providers listed below.

We process your data based on your consent, which you give by signing up and confirming in the confirmation email. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

How long we keep it

  • Confirmed sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Sign-ups that are not confirmed within 30 days are deleted.
  • When you unsubscribe, we delete your data.

Visitor statistics and cookies

We measure how the website is used, such as the number of visitors, where they come from and which devices they use. We do this without tracking cookies and without being able to identify you. These statistics are kept for up to 13 months.

The website only stores your language choice in your browser, and whether you closed the language notice. No personal data is linked to this.

Security

To prevent spam and abuse of the form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile invisibly checks that a person is behind the screen, without advertising cookies. Read more in the Turnstile privacy addendum. Rejected attempts are logged without full IP addresses and kept for up to 90 days. The website always uses a secure connection.

Who processes your data

We work with two service providers, with whom we have agreements on how your data is processed:

  • Cloudflare, for the website, storing sign-ups and security. Sign-ups are stored in the European Union.
  • Google, for sending email through Google Workspace.

Both companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Union, this is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent, object to processing and request a copy of your data. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email. For all other requests, email hallo@northfifty.nl. We respond within one month.

Making a complaint

If you are not happy with how we handle your data, please let us know first. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

If we update this privacy policy, the latest version will always be on this page. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
